Shigry

Shigry was a small desert settlement in the interior of northwestern Saudi Arabia. Its scattered homes, roadside structures, and simple community facilities reflected a way of life shaped by mobility, limited resources, and a close relationship with the surrounding desert. The community has since been fully resettled. These photographs were taken as residents were moving away and the settlement was gradually being demolished.
