Hismah

Hismah is a vast desert landscape stretching across northwestern Saudi Arabia near the Jordanian border. Its sandstone massifs, open plains, and deeply carved valleys have shaped routes of movement and seasonal grazing for generations. Sparse settlements remain dispersed across the landscape, although many communities are now experiencing gradual relocation.
